1. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. We don't believe in rituals, just a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We first die to our will and commit to doing our Lord's will. Reading and Studying the Bible is a daily activity and important for our growth. Jesus talks to us through His Word. Everything we need to know about life is in His Word. Through His Word we get the answers to life's questions, wisdom, understanding, peace and joy.
2. The Holy Spirit guides us, comforts us, and convicts us. This is called being Born Again. When we are baptized, it’s by submersion in water to symbolize dying of old lives, and we are re-born to Gods Will. We do not believe it is necessary to be baptized to have salvation. Baptism is the first public act of obedience, following His example. When we are born again, our names are written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. We are going to heaven and have eternal life. Salvation is something we will never lose. We ask Him to come and dwell in us as the Holy Spirit. Thus, He is always with us.
3. Jesus is the Messiah. He is with us till the end of time. We believe in the virgin birth, crucifixion, and the resurrection. The only way to get to the Father is through the Son. The only way to heaven is by receiving Jesus into your heart and life, not by works. To do His will regardless of what we would like. Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God interceding for us. We strive to be more like him in our lives. We come to Him with humility and like a child.
4. The Trinity - We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Once we are Born Again or Saved, we are all Saints. We know that we can do nothing without Him. We glorify Him in all that we do. Service for Him is done out of gratitude and love for Him.
5. Prayer is the life's blood to us. Without it, our relationship with God will wither away and die. Some Christians have a ritual of how they pray to God, while others pray when the moment arises. Both are beneficial and necessary for a healthy relationship with God and for growth in our own spirituality.
6. We believe that when one dies, the soul, depending on whether they have committed themselves to Christ or not, will either go to Heaven - a place where God is always present - or to Hell - a place where God's presence is not there. Within Christianity, there is by some denominations a belief of a literal Lake of Fire for those who have not believed. But through all the mainline and independent Christian denominations there is full agreement that God is a God of love and mercy and desires to have us exist with Him for all eternity.
